Aromatherapy has become a wildly popular method for supplementing, or complimenting, traditional medicine, both physical and emotional. As a budget friendly method to improving overall health, many parents are turning to aromatherapy in an effort to remedy some of the very basic pyscholgoical and emotional conflicts children face within the educational system, especially when struggling to pass state standardized testing.
As the application of essential oils promote well-being, aromatherapy can trace its roots to centuries past. Using oils from flowers, leaves, bark, roots and even seeds, aromatherapy may not only prevent illness but may also improve symptoms involving bacterial or viral infections and even improve mood and cognitive functioning in children. So, how does aromatherapy benefit the child who is facing standardized testing at school? Through our sense of smell, known medically as olfaction, the brain processes and interprets odor. Olfaction is the only sensory process which is not highly complex and activates the limbic system more promptly than other senses. Once interaction with the limbic system takes place, the aromatherapy begins to play upon the various other cognitive functions by way of the hypothalamus, thus interacting with the regulation of specific bodily functions, improving circulation, promoting oxygen flow and, thereby, potentially improving cognitive function. With standardized education testing in many states, parents are using aromatherapy as a method to reduce their own child's emotional and psychological fears commonly associated with state standardized testing. One key aromatherapy, using essential lemon oil, has shown profound results in relieving and preventing panic and improving a child's mood, working as a stimulant. By placing a few drops of essential lemon oil into a handkerchief, allowing the child to breath into the handkerchief a few times throughout the day, has shown to improve, in some cases, the standardized testing results by stimulating alertness and improving overall cognitive function. So, how do parents quickly acquire lemon oil aromatherapy on the day of state standardized testing? While the professional application of cold pressing provides for the best essential lemon oil, home methods are commonly used and involve the simple use of organically grown lemons. Using only the lemon peel, a parent can extract the essential oil using a food processor, at high speeds, to finely chop or grate the peel. Once finely grated, the lemon oils can be drained through a colander. While one lemon may not produce a significant amount of essential lemon oil, it is this small amount that is all that is required in the handkerchief to produce significant results in improving the outcome of state standardized testing in children. With many states leaning towards standardized testing as a tool to promote children through the academic system, including graduation from high school, parents and educators are commonly at odds as to how best to alleviate stress, panic and anxiety within children on test day. Using the essential oils found in lemons, the emotional fears of many children may be alleviated and, as a result, the child will experience a more alert pattern of thinking during these very important academic exams.

Do not enable laziness
Writing college essays for those who are physically able is wrong. It does nothing more than create a world of lazy people. There are too many citizens and companies that provide college essays for students. There are also too many college students who are buying their way through school. If you are getting paid to do someone else's work, you are contributing to the lazy mindset that many athletes and college students have. This does nothing but set the foundation for a future of less productivity. You are letting someone else get by on your work. This teaches students that they do not have to work as hard as everyone else. If they have a few hundred dollars, they are able to get a passing grade. Unfortunately, there are students in college who are providing this service to fellow classmates. Their reasoning may be tuition and supplies. However, that does not make it right. No one should provide college essays to students who do not do their own work. If someone refuses to complete a particular assignment, they should have to deal with the consequences of that decision. It may be difficult to pass some college courses. It is better for students to work at it and try their best then to pass the work onto someone else. It hurts everyone in the long run The market for pre-written college essays can have a negative impact on society. Students who get through college on the basis of someone else's work will continue their behavior later on in life. They will believe that they can pay their way through anything without having to actually put any real effort into difficult circumstances. This behavior can include paying someone to clean the house everyday or paying someone to take care of children. While there is nothing wrong with having a little help around the house, there are citizens in this country who do not do any kind of household work at all. There are also employees who take the credit for work that is done by others in the same company. It is a false sense of accomplishment. Those who pay their way past hard work will never learn how to be independent. This is another reason why college essays should not be sold to college students. It is unfair to those who work hard College students who take credit for assignments that they did not do themselves have created an in fair playing field in educational advancement. They receive the same passing grades as another student who has devoted time to studying and completing essays on their own. Students who do their own work are more honorable than those who do not. Yet, the lazy and careless college students are able to graduate alongside their greater classmates. Those who get paid to write college essays should see something wrong with that picture. College students would not be able to get by with their wallets if outsourced essays were not available. They would have to study and do their work just as an average student. This is why the college essay marketplace has to be demolished. If you have considered offering your skills, time and knowledge to a college student for a few extra bucks, think again. It is wrong in many ways and this is why you should decline from doing so. When I first started applying to colleges during my senior year of high school, I remember having a lot of questions that no one went out of their way to answer. Applying to colleges is a big deal and you want to make sure you do everything right. Luckily today we have several services available likes the ones from Jittery Monks which can help you with these tasks. However, it is very easy to make mistakes. Keeping a few things in mind before you submit your application will help you get a better chance at getting accepted to the college of your dreams. Here are a few things to remember, specifically about your college application essay.
Pay Attention to the Word Count: On your college application, the essay section will tell you how many words they want your essay to be. Don't go under this amount and don't go too much over it as well. If you do go over the word count, make sure you only go over by about 500 words. For example, if the minimum is 500 words, don't go over 1000 words. Unless they ask you to use more than one page, keep your essay to just a page long. Going on to a second page sometimes makes colleges think you're wasting their time and not following directions. Proofread: When I say proofread, I mean to do so more than once. Read your essay out loud because this is a good way to better hear your mistakes. Sometimes your mind will play tricks on you when you read it silently and you think you didn't make any mistakes when you did. Ask for Your Teachers' Opinions: Your teachers are there to help you and they will be more than happy to proofread your college essay for you. Specifically, ask your English teacher because he or she went to college for English and will be able to catch the most mistakes. They can also give you their opinion about how well you answered the question, how many words you used, and how you formed your sentences. Rough Drafts Are Not a Bad Thing: You should always start out with a rough draft because if you write this correctly, your rough draft will look much different than your final draft. Don't just write it and submit it. Your college essay should take months to write if you really want it to be the best. Keep writing rough drafts until you are completely happy with it. Have your friends read it and give their opinion about it. You will be surprised how much input you can get for this essay. Writing a college application essay isn't supposed to be the easiest thing in the world. It is supposed to represent who you are as a person and what you can contribute to a college community. It is supposed to show why you deserve to be accepted more than someone else. This can be a difficult thing to convey and you shouldn't do it alone. You need to get all the help you can get and follow directions. Give yourself enough time to make it perfect. |
